Collaboration

CUBiDA can significantly enhance your grant proposal by providing expert bioinformatics and data management guidance.

We encourage you to contact us early in the project planning phase, ideally during the initial stages of grant proposal development. We can actively participate in shaping the bioinformatics and data management aspects of your research program, including:

  • Defining research questions and objectives with a strong bioinformatics focus.
  • Selecting appropriate methods and tools.
  • Developing a realistic data analysis plan.
  • Estimating resource requirements, including personnel, computing infrastructure, and data storage.
  • Providing detailed cost estimates for our services, including personnel time, software licenses, and computational resources.
  • Preparing a Letter of Commitment for inclusion in your grant application.

During a long-term project, we will keep track of the total time committed to it and the general categories of our effort (e.g., work done in pursuit of the project’s goals, meetings with project members, training in new tools/technologies/methods) and regularly report on our progress.

For projects requiring significant expertise, we encourage you to consider including CUBiDA as another applicant in your grant application. This allows for a more formal and integrated collaboration, ensuring that the necessary bioinformatics support is fully funded and integrated into the project from the outset.

Contact us early in the planning phase to discuss your research goals and explore how CUBiDA can contribute to the success of your research project.
